Can you believe it's only 60 days till Christmas and this wonderful time of year we call "Fall" is almost over. Well I am now on a catch-up mission to start shooting some of the colors of the season. Some of these photo's are from different parts of the country during my travels. Here are some lovely red's, yellow's, green's and yes purples for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!!!

This is the very picture that validated my decision to scrap my cheap lenses for Canon's professional series lenses. I was at a family reunion and this buzz went past my ear. I looked out into this murky water and saw this dragonfly perched on a stick. I whipped my camera out and was able to take a few shots before this little guy took flight again. You find beauty is some of the most unsuspecting places if you're not afraid of the journey.

I was out driving around with my sons yesterday early evening and ran across this sky. The clouds had been moving fast all day long and this sky was no different. I quickly pulled into a parking lot, and started shooting while my sons ran to the playground. I didn't get a chance to set the camera as I just got out of the car and started shooting. The rainbow in this 3rd photo only lasted a few minutes. Enjoy!

Yesterday I completed my very first photo shoot with a beautiful family of eight. The weather was a bit cold and the sun evaded us for most of the day but my the spirit was good and I had as much fun and the family did. Here's one of my favorite shots from the afternoon with the four men of the family.
