Chicago - Angles to Infinity

Back in Chicago for the 3rd time in 2 months for the Lonzer/Jones Wedding. There wasn't much time to do a lot of shooting with the rehearsal dinner, the fact that I was in the wedding and the on again off again rainy weather they had. However, I did do some shooting across from the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart hotel we were staying in.

Before I went to Chicago, I decided to play around with Black and White's and what I call "Angles to Infinity". I guess the message for me, which I just got today, was not to take too much of a narrow view of things but to look at the different aspects of the "life experience" before making up my mind. None of us live in our own universe, but I'm sure they like us there if we did, so we have to work everyday at the co-mingling thing. There's so much rhetoric today that is focused on the negative, whether it's the economy, election jockeying and/or news in general, that it's good to be reminded that there's always another angle on things and that we can't be closed-minded to other possibilities and points of view.

I know from experience what it's like to live with a glass half empty in the midst of my glass half full and the damage that comes from the inability to examine things from different angles.
Each day the sun rises to another day, a new dawn if you will of new possibilities, perspectives and "angles to infinity". We are creatures of habit who find comfort in consistency and there's nothing wrong with that. BUT, what if one day, just one day, you chose another angle towards a new infinity.

Be blessed!!!

Hauteness! You're good, really good. I can see the ROK III influence. I guess the class was well worth it. By the way, what camera do you use? What lens?

Thanks Prudence. I use Canon equipment (bodies and lenses) and I shot this with my 24mm-70mm.
